Delete your Lingom account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Lingom account (Android app: com.vantinent.lingom). Last updated May 28, 2026.

How to request account deletion

In the Lingom app

  1. Open the Lingom app on your device and sign in.
  2. Open Profile from the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and personal data are deleted immediately.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Account profile — display name, email address, avatar, and sign-in identifiers (Google, Telegram, etc.)
  • Learning data — vocabulary progress, review queues, word boxes, and study history
  • Streaks & gamification — streak counts, calendar history, streak freezes, XP, rankings, and Lings balance
  • Social data — friends, followers, and follow relationships
  • Referrals — your referral code and referral links tied to your account
  • Authentication data — login sessions, API tokens, magic login links, and Telegram bot linkage

Data that may be kept

  • Aggregated analytics — de-identified usage statistics that cannot reasonably be linked back to you
  • Server backups — encrypted backups that may contain your data are purged on a rolling basis within 30 days after account deletion
  • Payment records — if you purchased premium features, transaction records required for tax, accounting, or fraud prevention may be retained for up to 7 years, without your learning profile or progress data

Processing time

Account deletion takes effect immediately after you confirm in the app. Deletion is irreversible — you will need to create a new account to use Lingom again.
